Personal Projects
Below are several personal projects I've worked on over the past few years, each one being an art series of pieces revolved around a certain theme. Depending on the project, certain elements of typography, layout, illustration, and photography are used throughout. Each project can be downloaded to view with a link listed below each one.
Trapped!
Original Release: April 2023
There are many reasons why one may feel trapped: isolation, loneliness, anxiety, depression, hopelessness, frustration. You could even be surrounded by many people and still feel this way. "Trapped!" is an illustration series that takes on these exact reasons why one may feel trapped, especially in today’s environment. I wanted to make something fun, bright, and creative out of these dark struggles we often deal with.

One Monday Morning
Original Release: February 2021
One Monday morning, I decided to go outside and take photos that are reminiscent of my past. Cross country, college, outdoor runs, car rides. During the Winter season, it’s a time of reflection in which memories flow into one another like a time loop or one simple fluid motion. This series of images represents past memories flowing together into one point in time, yet each one can be pulled apart and be identified individually.

Previously Owned Dissonance
Original Release: June 2020

"Previously Owned Dissonance" is a digital collage series that was created under quarantine this Spring. We are all somewhat attached to these objects that are surrounding us within our home, inside and outside. Viewing these objects many times can create a blurry spectrum, making one unable to point out each object’s location or purpose. While stuck at home, this personal relationship becomes even more dissonant than usual. Being with these objects for such a long period of time, I wanted to share the before and after process as well as my creative process with each piece. Each collage contains photos of objects selected from my home.

Soccer Mom
Original Release: November 2019

What even is a Soccer Mom? When I first started this project, I only had this sole title in my head. I’ve always been fascinated by this term and I didn’t really know why. I knew I wanted to explore what makes someone a Soccer Mom, so that’s how this zine first came to be. Throughout the creative process, I thought about stereotypes, culture, what the true meaning of being a Soccer Mom could be and why someone can be described as such. Each piece is a collage of various shapes and photos with the intent of attempting to solve these very questions I had been pondering.
